Does anybody own a Volkssturm Solduch with an award or promotion entry?

I´ve seen a few Volkssturm Soldbücher but award entries a hard to come by. So if anybody does own such a piece, please show!

The soldbuchs are pretty scarce, i had a few but cannot remember there being any award entries. Not to say the men did not have awards, a number must have had kvk etc. But it is very possible they got it outside of the volksturm and because the units probably did not have the same admin experiance as regular units that these aeards were never entered.

I do not think that members of the Volksturm were promoted, per se. I think that the were appointed rank and etc based upon past military experience or leadership position in the community... Maybe someone who knows more and add on to this, either way?

You´re right considering the initial mustering, but I was thinking of the later service.

Very rare IMHO... I am sure many Volksturm had awards... but from their other capacities...
