Dieter3
Yes, I saw this one two. Not in best condition though. It will be interesting to see what the final bid will be. Definitely interested to see this! …what really hurts me is the fact, that this set was broken into several auctions. Hopefully, the lucky bidder will be able to get it complete…! I find it so uncool when sets are broken up like this, but I understand why a business person would do it. I personally would never do so, not even to make extra bucks. There is a ceratain immorality to it in my little world, but..... But maybe some guys need only the sash badge ....this is true, and a hard point to argue. Those in education will know what ESM means. Paul Please elaborate on ESM. Thanks. Edited May 1, 2013 by Dieter3

JapanX
Well, the badge was sold for $12 887 and the breast star for $ 12 500 SUPER LOW PRICE!!! Pure madness actually... The sash badge was sold practically for the same price as breast star... Phaleristical madness Unfortunately the set will be broken...

As we both know there is no such thing as the "right price" Well, the lowest price for the set without original box and sash that I saw was (if I remember correctly) $35 000. Cheers, Nick

JapanX
Well, if we remember that only recently the breast star (with HUGE bonus) was sold only for $5600 (http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/56351-golden-kite-breast-badge-with-bring-back-papers-on-ebay/) then $12500 will become astronomical price (for eBay it is ) The seller should be really grateful to this anonymous 2***y( 5 ), because without him the price will easily be only $3700
dark379
Ya i remember that Mr. Nick, it a big bonus in the buyer $5600 only in those set... and now it became $12500 in 2nd class only w/ little damage in enamel.....and the 2****y (5) really help the seller to have that price, lucky seller. i think when a 2nd class or 1st class come again in ebay it will be more $$$ and price will be more higher.
