I posted this one up a little while back, and recently had some very nice photos shown to me of this very banner in use.

banner in use.....

Hi Chris,

It was once there, I believe the museum has re-located to Berlin, and from what I have heard, most of the items that were on display are

now stored away, and the museum is a shadow of what it was when it was at Uetersen.

Bob. Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos. I really do appreciate the detail of the hand embroidered banners, like the one you have in the OP. They dont make things of that quality for the military anymore.

I have actually just moved this one to Bill Shea (it was once in his personal collection), and has gone back home again !

I have another one which I will post some photos of shortly, slightly better condition than this one, and a rare unit designation.

I have had one of these for a good few years. My father brought it back after the war, I thought I would share with you.

What sought of value are they?

To be honest I don't know a great deal about them.

I would love to see some close up of the embroidery word.  It looks to be an awesome item.  They are worth a LOT of money, but I cannot give you a good number... but close to 7,000-10,000 dollars?
