They've changed Ukrainian since i was being prepared for World War 3 too. How about:

"Week to you (~30.06) I unfortunately (?) such noisy-electronic-post (? e-mail? Hell, I don't know THAT in German or French either: my languages fossilized in the Carter/Brezhnev years). You received it?"
