Hi Rick. Thinking of buying them. What would be a fair price for these. PM me if you want and thanks for the quick reply.

Hi Don, My advice would be to stick to undamaged versions. You'll have to dig a bit both literally and fiscally, but in the end, I'd rather have an example of these without cracked cores...

    Hi Don,

As mentioned elsewhere, both look original but both have cracked cores and imo both have been heavily polished - these are NOT mint imo, they just look "nice".

i personally like both of them, but would not

pay ANY premium price for them.

i would, however, but them at some price.

if there is any way you can let us know what they go for,

    i'd appreciate it!

    good luck!

Stay away, save your money and look for some undamaged pieces.Sometimes it's neccessary to buy an iron cross with a rusty core when it's one of the rare variations, but in this case I would pass on them.

I have to agree with Micha... always go for quality first. Then rarity. Rarity can supercede on an exceptional piece that you simply may not ever find a better example. But I try very hard to stick with quality at all times. No point in having a piece you will have to compromise on at some future date.
