ixhs
Hi again! I am working on a list with recipients of the i.c. on non combatant ribbon. I studied many resources in the last 2 years and now i have ~ 750 names. i want to get 250 more - my finish is 1000 names if you have resources with recipients it would be very nice to PM them me or write it in this post. it would be superb if anyone has the siekmann`s taschenkalender for beamte (officials) or names of the staatshandbuch für den preussischen hof 1918. the most persons i found got the cross in 1917 and later (esp. after nov. 9 1918) thanks joe
Daniel Krause
Hi, why to stop at 1000? Try to get as much as you can! I would check: - Kriegsrangliste der Intendanturbeamten - Siekmann 1917 - Staatshandbuch Preussen 1918 - Handbuch für das Deutsche Reich 1918 - Preuß. Militärwochenblatt and Staatsanzeiger - Sächs., Bay., Württ. Personalnachrichten most of the sources are available. Feel free to contact me. Dave Danner
The Handbuch über den preussischen Hof und Staat for 1918 is a valuable resource. Here is an example from just one page, for the Finanzministerium, where you will find 10 recipients of the EK2w. And another, for the Landratsämter in Cassel, with 14 recipients. Indeed, almost every Landrat in Prussia had the EK, either on the black/white or on the white/black ribbon.
