EK 1914 Help with 1914 EK2 Market "J" on the ring -Juncker?

Dear Members,

I recently obtained a nice 1914 EK2 with mark "J" on the ring

According to some information this mark is for the Berlin Firm C,E. Juncker.

Can you help me with any information

As far as I am aware Juncler is the on;ly firm that has a J mark.

This is neither Juncker core, nor frame, imo.

I agree this looks like a "J", but I've never seen a proof C. E. Juncker made the 1914 EK within the award era.

The later private purchase crosses look totally different, of course - but that doesn't mean too much.

This is a well-known indecipherable mystery mark. I doubt it's Juncker, but who knows?
