Flare gun with holster

M1879 Reichsrevolver short barrel 10.6mm.

Ed, I don't believe the Germans had flare gun holsters first war just a pouch for the rounds the weapon would be clipped to their belt.

Both the brits and the germans had them. They were sometimes referred to as a signaling holster.
