spolei
Hello. that could be a "Faschinenmesser", a short bavarian artillery-sword M 1892 with lionshead. Edited November 25, 2013 by spolei

Hoss
M1879 Reichsrevolver short barrel 10.6mm. Ed, I don't believe the Germans had flare gun holsters first war just a pouch for the rounds the weapon would be clipped to their belt. Chris Isn't that a cavalry belt? heres a pic of a holster a chum sent me that was for sale. Eric Edited November 26, 2013 by Hoss
E Williams
Both the brits and the germans had them. They were sometimes referred to as a signaling holster. Edited November 26, 2013 by E Williams
