Paul R Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Wow. That one is so beautiful it brings a tear to my eye. The only thing missing is a NonCom EK2!
redeagleorder Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 It looks , but the flat bottom construction (like am-militaria uses), different ribbon sizes used and wear on the red cross medal when compared to others raise some interesting points. Not saying it is anything other than genuine, but would like to see some further discussion about it.
Paul R Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I do not see much wear on the Red Cross ribbon... it does look a little discolored, but due to time?
VtwinVince Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 This one looks a little too 'postfrisch' for my liking.
redeagleorder Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I do not see much wear on the Red Cross ribbon... it does look a little discolored, but due to time? I was referring to the medal itself.
Ulsterman Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Outstanding bar. I'd love to hold this one. Navy Arzt?
Bernhard H.Holst Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Outstanding bar. I'd love to hold this one. Navy Arzt? Hello. Unknown recipient. Our late, much missed Rick "Research" could not come up with anyone. Bernhard H. Holst
Ulsterman Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Well, loos good to me. seems to have that desiccated appearance to the ribbons that looks good. Id bet serious cash that guy was a youngish Stabarzt in Kiel etc. who got demobbed in 1920. no LS for him!
