    Hi Gents,

    I would like to shown You the group from Ernst Stolpe beginning

    with his portrait photo while his was a policemen in

    the Schutzpolizei in Schleswig - Holstein approximately late

    1920 beginning of 1921

    His " Vorläufiger Ausweis " from the IC 2. Class awarded on 13. January 1920 awarded

    from the Nachrichtenkompanie 3. Kurl. Inf. Rgt. with Stamp Detachment Poensgen Eiserne Division

    That is indeed a nice one!!

    Thanks Chris and I don´t think that it is an award for action in WW 1

    Did he also serve during WWI?

    His Fahrtausweis from the Eiserne Division here is the reason written why

    he had to leave the Freikorps. His Dad has withdrawn his consent for his son

    to stay at the Eiserne Division.

    Very, veeery good :beer: Not that often you can see Baltenkreuz certificate issued not by Baltischer National Ausschuss. I've seen 3 of these and all were issued by Detachment Poensgen...interesting. Also IC2 certificate from Freikorps unit is unusual to say the least, congratulations! Is there any chance to see a close up picture of sleeve shild from the last foto? Thanx in advance!

    The armshield is that of Freiwilligen Bataillon von Bulow of the Brigade Schaulen of which 3rd Kurland Regt. was a part.

    Nothing to add, Brian is right, it's FK Buelow arm shild.
