Chris Boonzaier Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I thought a new thread showing Feldpost Boxes and contents would be just right for easter....
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 Here are some normal box variations....
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 Here is one from the German Officesr Association shop.... size wise just right for 2 EK1 Boxes... obviously other things would have fit in as well
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 These are more interesting... people at hom could use these to make canned fruit, jam, meat, wahtever, and send them to the men at the front.... when you calculate how small these are... there was no supersizing back then.....
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 For those who wanted to send Schnapps to their loved ones at the front.....
Brian Wolfe Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 A very interesting post, Chris. Thanks for posting these. Regards Brian

Chris Boonzaier Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Chris, that's a lot of Feldpost. Where are you finding them or have you bought someone's collection? Tony Hi, I had picked up a few over the years, then got a few more last month. Instant collection!!
Chris Boonzaier Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 I ... even better if with it's tasty content .... I was screwed over... when they arrived they were empty...
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Why would anyone mail a measuring stick? I almost complained!! the seller forgot to mail the stick!!!!
Chris Boonzaier Posted May 7, 2016 Author Posted May 7, 2016 I recently found out the boxes above with the Iron Cross are fake. However, to make up for that.....
Chip Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I suppose they fake all these "Kleinteile" for reenactors. It's unfortunate, in my estimation, when they make them exactly like existing originals. Chip
Chris Boonzaier Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 In retrospect i dont think they used to have any with the big EK on it. I shoulda realised it when i had them in my hands for the first time but I did not look closely. i bought a box of 10... I use them to keep loose badges and groups in now.
