Soviet Researched Orders For Service to the Homeland Orders

I'm compiling some data for an article that I am preparing for the JOMSA that discusses researched Orders for Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces of the USSR 3rd Class.

I'm looking for assistance in finding more material that includes the following:

- Award numbers and Ukaz dates for these awards

- Citations for these awards

Tee hee... That's one of about a half dozen I have currently. Unfortunately, I have to reference all their new owners as I decided to write this as nearly all of them were sold off!

As far as I know, this is the ONLY "pre-McDaniel" first type 3rd Class out there with

Orders Book

Order of the Day publicizing it within his unit

and...

researched REAL citation. (Where DID that come from????? )

A search on his name will turn up other bits of his career-- North Vietnamese Feat Of Arms Order 1st Class, etc.

I still wonder about his actual Presidium issue 1988 jubilee:

You can certainly use the Afghan OSH 3 info I posted here. In addition, I have research on OSH 3 #2347 awarded to Colonel Nikolai Alekseevich Potanin on April 30, 1975. I haven't translated it yet but can send you scans in the meantime if that would help.
