JapanX Posted August 14, 2014 Author Share Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) These 12 belonged to Marquis Vivien De Chateaubrun (1896-1975). De Chateaubrun was born into privilege near St. Petersburg at Gatchina in 1896. He went on to become an officer in the Imperial Russian Grenadier Guards and was decorated for valor on numerous occasions. At the conclusion of the First World War he was one of the earliest volunteers to join the Slavo-British Allied Legion (July 7, 1918) and took place in the original landing at Archangel on August 2, 1918. He immigrated to England where he became a citizen and continued serving in the British Army. He died in Chelsea in 1975.
