Naxos
Not much known about these mountain artillery units. I have a Militaerpass from a Wachtmeister that served in the Bad.-Gebirgs-Kanonen-Batterie 1 - He fought at the Hartmannsweilerkopf in 1915. Transferred to GeBa1 from FAR50 - He was trained on the 7,5 cm Gebirgskanone L14 - was a Zugfuehrer and Feldwebelleutnant. Chip
Here's an example of an enlisted M15 Gebirgs-Artillerie strap. No unit number assigned. Possibly unissued. Often, unit numbers were added later upon assignment from the Ersatz unit. Chip

Chip
Take a guess! Right! They're darn scarce. I have another pair that is numbered (#20). Chip Edited December 7, 2014 by Chip
