Hi Gerd,

I saw HH's catalogue and I wasn't impressed by the choice of their medal bars and Imperial medals. This trapezoidal bar, IMHO, it's a baaaaad fake... pretty much everything seems to be wrong: order of the decorations, low quality devices, etc.

Very interesting, Claudio. Shows, what i know about ribbonbars.

You are right, the german imperial stuff isn?t too impressing, but there are some intersting lots though. I was surprised to see many of the TR-awards with Niemann-expertise. I think, at least that is a step forward

Gerd, is there a picture of the BACK of that bar?

The wacky precedence doesn't bother me (typical of the 1880s), can't make up my mind about how good or not the devices are, but I wouldn't be willing to condemn that one without seeing the reverse.

There is no reverse picture of that bar shown - although one can be obtained.

I'm still stunned at finding this little 'gem' offered by HH with a starter of 1000 euro..

A known fake - and a bad example of it at that!!
