Dave Danner Posted July 20, 2016 Share Posted July 20, 2016 No major connection between Oldenburg and Baden jumps to mind, so possibly an Oldenburger serving in a Baden regiment. Baden had two universities (Heidelberg and Freiburg), so many students from other parts of Germany did their one-year volunteer service there and ended up commissioned into Baden regiments.
