Uffz. Rohleder Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Hello all, Finally I found a 1815 medal. I was looking for one since 20 years. I got that one for 13€. It's kinda hard to make a good photo since the medal is covered with a dark patina. Im so happy still can't believe it
Jaybo Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Congrats! Now get the other three (1813, 1813-14, 1814) if you don't already have them. Then there is the 1863 50th anniversary medal........Enjoy.
Herman Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Congratulations. Which state. ? It's a well worn example. Regards Herman
VtwinVince Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Right, and don't forget the variants with either straight or curved arms on the cross, and then there are the non-combat versions in cast iron, the so-called 'Plums'. These are a slippery slope, trust me.
augustin1813 Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Some combattant variants for this prussian medal:
VtwinVince Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Very nice, is that a repair on the suspension of the first 'Pflaume'?
