GreyC Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Hi, I got this photo at a fair. I first thought that he was a member of St. John, but because he wears the Order of the Holy Grave of Jerusalem (if I am correct) he ought to be catholic. So he is probably a high ranking member of the Order of Malta. I am not sure if he is German or Austrian. Can anybody identify him by any chance? Thank you! GreyC
P.F. Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 (edited) Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Knight of Honour and Devotion (possibly Bailiff Grand Cross, given the size) The Equestrian of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Knight Grand Cross He was certainly Roman Catholic. Also a member of the aristocracy given the grade of the Order of Malta. Edited June 1, 2019 by P.F.
