Achille
Hi guys, I'd like to receive your opinion on these 2 Imperial U boot Badge. Are them good or bad? Thank you!
VtwinVince
These are a bit of a minefield, but they both look good to me.
Achille
Thank you. Maybe in the first one the catch has been replaced?
Claudio
What about these? The first I like the reverse although the makers name is written with one T instead of two and the obverse is lacking a bit of detail. The second one, the “light” version looks very good from the front (Feuervergoldung with polished highlights), but I don’t like the hinge and catch... they look like re-attached. Thanks in advance for your comments! cheers, Claudio Edited March 21, 2020 by Claudio
VtwinVince
I don't like the first one, reverse hardware is not typical, and the finishing seems off. Also, where is the die flaw for the second 't' in Schott? I like the second one, looks like an interwar piece from Steinhauer.
Claudio
I got another badge to discuss, if there's anything to discuss. I think that the maker mark on the back looks good, but the pin has been replaced or fooled with... any thoughts?
