Bayern Posted April 23, 2020 Share Posted April 23, 2020 Hello , Yes the 35 Pionier Regiment was the first unit specialized in Gas warfare . It was called also Peterson Regiment for the name of the first commander, the Regiment with two Bataillons comprised apart of the gas operating Coys a Meteorological and a Radiotelegraphic Section .probably VFW Schmitt was in charge of the Meteorological .
