The only maker of the 1870 2nd class Iron crosses with a manufactures mark was Louis Lemcke (LL). All other makers had no manufacture markings.

Are you able to show the back of the cross?

There are no ring markings on 1870 EK's, unless replaced. You have a nice award piece, I would say core type 'A'.
