Deutschritter
Hans Friedrich Blunck was a Reserveoffizier of the Kaiserliche Marine, he was promoted to Leutnant zur See der Reserve on 5 September 1911 and to Oberleutnant zur See der Reserve on 20 February 1917. He was also Reserveoffizier of the Wehrmacht (Heer?), but I cannot find out what rank. Can anyone help? Thank you!
webr55
Blunck was a writer and president of the Reich Literature Chamber (Reichsschrifttumskammer). Also got the Goethe medal. I am not aware that he actually served in the Wehrmacht, but may have held a reserve rank.
Deutschritter
Yes, I know his biography, I just cannot find out his rank. Here is a picture, sorry for the bad quality. He could be, it seems, a Oberleutnant, maybe later Hauptmann?!
webr55
Looks like an Oberleutnant in the picture. The Militärarchiv should have information about him.
