My source https://orka.bibliothek.uni-kassel.de/viewer/image/1518619596178/486/ is rather contradictionary on the second part of his career. He either ended his career as a Rittmeister a.D. of the Garde-Train-Bataillon or of the Train-Bataillon (kurhess.) Nr 11. Could anyone give me a more definite answer? GreyC Posted June 14, 2022 Share Posted June 14, 2022 In 1882 he was listed as Rittmeister of the Train-Bataillon 11 in Cassel/Kassel. having earned himself an Iron Cross 2nd class in the war of 1870/71. 1883 as Rittmeister of the Garde Train Bataillon and 1884 back to TB 11.
