CHRIS W Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Do you think this is a legitiment piece? Wouldn't a Saxon officer have more awards by 1934 than just a EK2 and a Albert Order? Thanks!Chris
Stogieman Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 This looks fine to me as well. A Leutnant might have received the EK2/AOR2wX only......... mustered out and then the HKwX as a "participant" 16 years later. Remember, not everyone stayed in after the armistice
Guest Rick Research Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Exactly what a 40 year old ex-wartime Leutnant der Reserve et cetera would have had to show for himself in the mid-1930s.
CRBeery Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Chris, I believe that is the bar Ed Maroli is selling. I have held it and I saw no problem with it all. I buy from Ed at local shows and have not found anything questionable yet. He actually seems to have a good nose for this hobby.Chet
Bob Hunter Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 It's a good looking bar. Chet is right, Ed has a knack for scaring up interesting pieces. He has a particular panzer badge I would love to own.
