Luftschutz "B" Armband - What is it?

Don't know anything about this other than that it is a Luftschutz armband and has a "B" sewn on it in white. Any help with further ID is welcome! This is not my realm of collecting, so I'm a complete newbie. Appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks! Not many coming up. Anyone have an idea of value? Would the Luftschutz have been sort of like Home Guard?

I have a bunch of weird armbands.  The last time I went to a local show, I sold one pretty similar looking and it sold for $50.

Thanks for that! I'm going to see about selling or trading this, as it doesn't fit my area, but it has been interesting to learn about, I have to say!
