Stogieman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 This incomplete bar has been floating around eBay.de for awhile now. Precedence is off but I believe it’s legit. With an opening bid of 2550-Euro it won’t be going anywhere soon!
Stogieman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Another interesting bar with an opening bid of 1690-Euro. It’s been listed repeatedly with no takers. Unsure as to authenticity
Stogieman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 And this bar had a lot of interest, closing at 1114-Euro . What is the third medal?
dedehansen Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi Stogieman, silberne Medaille Friedrich Franz III für Militärperson OEK 1310 / 1 Kind regards Andreas
Stogieman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 With an opening bid of 2000-Euro, and been around for awhile. I think it’s good but we need Solomon to weigh in to be sure. 1
Stogieman Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 This interesting little ribbon bar, allegedly attributed, brought 109-Euro
Stogieman Posted Sunday at 12:14 Author Posted Sunday at 12:14 I liked this bar, comments welcome, went for 101-Euro

VtwinVince Posted Sunday at 16:48 Posted Sunday at 16:48 Looks like that BMVK has had the swords removed.
Stogieman Posted Monday at 01:12 Author Posted Monday at 01:12 Another big day in Germany, with many nice pieces. I think this one is legit, 1165-Euro 1

It was one of those sold at the Bene Merenti auction a number of years back, and it's in one he used in a certain rather contentious article. I don't know 100% that it's a unique attribution, but i looked Dr. Roediger in the Naval Ranklist, and everything seemed to line up. Even though the seller was willing to ship to this side of the pond, eBay was steadfast in not allowing me to bid due to location. Grr...

Grr... Then, IMO the seller excluded the locations. You should have tried to write him a PM at eBay and explain this. I guess he was not aware of this. You can exclude locations when starting the offer, and you can change it later.
Stogieman Posted Monday at 12:10 Author Posted Monday at 12:10 Good Morning! While damaged, this is real! Consistent with the two original issue pieces I’ve owned. You have to be really careful as there are some excellent copies out there. Enjoy! An extremely scarce piece! 1766- Euro 1
Stogieman Posted Monday at 12:41 Author Posted Monday at 12:41 Really nice to see this one. Looks exactly like the one I used to have, outer carton and all! 583-Euro
Stogieman Posted Monday at 13:12 Author Posted Monday at 13:12 I liked this bar, but missed the end of the auction as I was away all day yesterday! 391-Euro. Despite the condition, it was a nice one, especially with the RAO medaille!

It might have been too close to the end of the auction.
Stogieman Posted Monday at 13:48 Author Posted Monday at 13:48 Someone got one heck of a deal on this group. The badge and case are real! Only 605- Euro!
Stogieman Posted Monday at 15:08 Author Posted Monday at 15:08 I was surprised this brought 260-Euro. I was unsure about authenticity and I don’t really understand or know all the ribbons or the precedence. Can anyone explain this group?
Stogieman Posted Monday at 16:08 Author Posted Monday at 16:08 This no ribbon BZL2x looks good to me, went for 645-Euro 1
VtwinVince Posted Monday at 16:46 Posted Monday at 16:46 Rick, I have my doubts about that Poellath pilot.

Stogieman Posted Monday at 18:11 Author Posted Monday at 18:11 Gentlemen, that’s rather disappointing to hear. I really thought that was a good one!
VtwinVince Posted Monday at 23:50 Posted Monday at 23:50 It's one of the latest generation of fakes, and the case is pretty scary compared to previous examples.
Stogieman Posted Tuesday at 11:20 Author Posted Tuesday at 11:20 From US eBay, $180. Nice chain, even with some damage.
