An obscure area of Imperial Germany to me, don’t know what interest there might be but if this is legitimate, it might be a bargain! On US eBay now, asking $399.

Good fakes of most of the obscure arts and sciences awards exist now for many years, so extreme caution would be my recommendation.

Not my cup of tea and I profess to being clueless about this area of collecting. Thought it would make an interesting topic.

I really have to wonder about such a plethora of fakes in our hobby! It’s been relisted. Does anyone know if it’s actually real?

I went down the arts and sciences rabbit hole some years ago, and found, to my detriment, that good fakes have been floating around for many years, notably the Lippe Roses.

Unfortunately its only German eBay. But I guess its the same for US. So you can find ended auctions.
