Hey Stijn,

god job. Unfortunatly this is the only award document that is missing in the group I own. I think, he flew with his commanding officer, Alwin Boerst (Oaks and sword), because they got their awards nearly at the same time. If you want to, I post his arward docs for the EK 2 (field made and official) also

Here is my own contribution to this thread. Though much of my collection has been sold, I still retain most of my documents and photos.

This is a beauty -- always liked it, and the only campaign shield document I have. Originally from the George Petersen collection.

Nice to see you also arround here . That is indeed a very attractive Krimshield document. Thanks for sharing that one. It always seems to me that there exist a load off different Krim variants (also quite logical when thinkning about the number of awards).

Nice one Mike, theoretically speaking he could also have received the Lapplandschild if he survived to the end, and i don't see his name on the casualty list for II./KG26
