pluribus
A beautiful award. What are they awarded for? Is the new (post communist independence) pilot badge similar to the WWII type? Do you have any photos of the current pilot badge?Regards,Lee Hello, Here you can see the current pilot badge. pluribus

AndresT
These are interesting images. August Rebane in Estonian, Soviet and German air force. And still wearing his Estonian Pilot badge. It was forbidded in Soviet time, so i think it was his personal image for himself.
steveBobby
Maybe not. In the early days of the Soviet Union’s annexation of the three Baltic countries, former Wehrmacht officers from the three countries should have been allowed to wear their own badges. I've found some examples of this on photos of Red Army officers from Estonia and Latvia. Sincerely Steve Add more photos of people wearing Estonian pilot badges under this topic.
