Defense Intelligence Agency Civilian Combat Support Medal is awarded to civilian employees of the Defense Intelligence Agency that perform their duties in direct support of combat operations.

This award was established 1945. It was later redesigned and reestablished in by President Kennedy in three classes as the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The Navy Distinguished Civilian Service Medal is awarded by the Secretary of the Navy to private citizens, government officials and technical personnel who serve the US Navy as advisors or consultants, and who have rendered distinguished service or made substantial contributions to the Navy's mission.
