Eric Stahlhut
fortunately, this type of kmst has a pretty straight-forward type of pin. it would be easy to have a replacement made (sans hallmarks) if i so chose. however, the hinge assemblies on these are so finely done, any repairs would be quite evident, and i am averse to having this done. i will most likely leave it in it's current state. Glenn R
I agree, I'd leave it well alone. This is the state in which it has survived and any repairs would be a detraction. It's not as if its going to be worn again. Nice display piece though, lovely core. Glenn.
gregM
Eric, Even with the broken pin, that is a nice cross and a hard to find variation. One that I'm still looking for.
Danny70
Eric, I'd certainly leave it as it is. It still looks good and will fill a gap until you manage to find an undamaged one. Regards - Danny

Chris Boonzaier
I suppose it was an "Oh Sht!" moment for the guy who broke it...
