Tsend Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 I took this photo at the Marshal G. K. Zhukov's house museum in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In fact Zhukov lived in this very building from 1939 to 1940. The photo shows his uniform and orders pertaining to his time in Mongolia. Also, there is an Order of the red Banner of Military Valor of the Mongolian People's Republic. Zhukov was awarded with such an Order for his feat in deafting the Japanese at the river Khalkha in September 1939. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Drea It was published in famous Fort Leavenworth research series in the early 80s.
