Best regards, Jens Es handelt sich um eines der 21 verschiedenen Kennzeichen des Stahlhelmbundes (BdF) der "früheren Waffenzugehörigkeit" aus dem Weltkrieg wie es 1933 gestiftet und in der Beilage zu "Der Stahlhelm" vom 19.Februar 1933 unter "4. Abzeichen" veröffentlicht wurde. Das Abzeichen wurde unter dem Landesverbandsabzeichen (Oberarm) am linken Unterarm über den Ärmelaufschlägen getragen und waren entweder in metallener oder gestickter Form zulässig. Die einzelnen Waffenzugehörigkeiten waren: 1. Infanterie 2. Kavallerie 3. FeldAri 4. FußAri 5. MG-Trup. 6. Minenw. 7. Jäger 8. Pioniere 9. Nachrichtentr. 10. Eisenbahn 11. Fuhrp./Train 12. Kraftfahrer 13. Luftschiffer 14. Flieger 15. Zeppelin 16. Flammenwerfer 17. Tankbesatzungen 18. Sanitäter 19. Marine 20. U-Boote 21. Schutztruppen Diese waren alle mit einschlägig erkennbaren Symbolen dargestellt, also z.B. für die Nr. 5 das MG 08 für die MG-Truppen wie von Mike vorgestellt oder den Hirschschädel für die Jäger oder einen Adler vor der Sonne für die Kolonialtruppe. Die Grundfarbe des Unterlagefilzes war die des jeweiligen Landesverbandes des BdF die analog der Farben der jeweiligen SA-Gruppen waren (der Stahlhelm wurde auch schon bald dort eingegliedert), die die SA an den Kragenspiegeln trug. Also z.B. bei meinem Anzeichen hellblau des Landesverbandes 04 Hochland und Bayrische Ostmark oder smaragdgrün (10) für Sachsen/Nordmark. bolewts58 Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) These speciality badges were introduced in 1932 by orders from the Stahlhelm High Command (Bk/IIa/1932). Bk means Bundeskammer. The badges were only available through "Der Stahlhof" at Magdeburg. A couple of other examples. Field Artillery and Jäger and a a couple of pics showing the Field Artillery badge in wear: lower left sleeve.
