      Gordon,is it just a coincidence that the above brass cored EK's belonged to Kriegsmarine men?I know the old wives tale about KM personnel having brass core EK's because they wouldn't rust in the sea air but seeing attributed crosses like yours makes me wonder if it might be true. Cheers Dave

      My mate has had the cross for about 20 years and he paid ?400 for it because he thought it was an RK.He wasn't best pleased when I told him it was an Ubergrosse. Whether it was converted wartime or not.....who knows?? Here are some more pics. Dave
