    4. Hello to everybody For me it is good that I read this forum late, because I am realy seek ,the orders and medals are UNREAL wery nice. I am collecting Red Cross and hawe Japan Red Cross for Manchuko silver one and some time ago I lost biding on the E-bay for the order they kill me in last 2 seconds. THANK YOU WERY MUCH ONCE AGAIN FOR BEAUTIFUL PICTURE OF THE RED CROSS.
    5. Last phot is the semple of the ribbon valid for all the decorations orders and medals of Red Cross.
    6. Japanese Red Cross was founded June 1888. Regular membership Medal - for members who have contributed more than 300 yen. initially struck in silver, then aluminum.Special member Silver Medal - for long-term contributors.Special gold membership medal - for members who have contributed more than 10,000 yen. Medals of merit Japanese Red Cross granted to foreigners who have become contributing members of the Japanese Red Cross. Originally only one class in silver from 1956 in two classes of silver (greater contribution 50,000 yen) and gold (by more 100,000 yen). The one on Your picture is Medal of merit Japanese Red Cross, and the ribbon or suspension is missing it could be part of the Japanese Red Cross in time of war-Japan- Russia in 1904-1905. and then the medal is worn on the ribbon prescribed, which is valid for all the decorations , it is also known to wear a simple metal clip or sling is made a symbol of the Red Cross - quite rare. The second option is small metal bar. In any case in my opinion the suspension on Your medal is not regular and probably made buy the owner of the medal because he lost the original ribbon or suspension. I am sorry I do not know hoe to put the photos to show the examples on the message I will try to learn that quick. CHEERS Jovan
    7. Hello It is perfectly clear that this is not uncommon situation.I've seen it many times on the auctions. Sellers are the one to blame, they are organized with their friends and the ceep the prices up,and from time to time they are buying their medals paying the auction fee only to maintain the price. As a collector when somethimes I ask the seller to sel me some orders or medals they will thell me You know this item was sold on that and that auction for that price and they keep the price high. But if We as a collectors wont some items and they are rare or interesting to us We will pay. And from my point of view it is better to buy the items even though they are more expensive that we plan to pay because if I was saving money for something with fix price , money yust go away for some strange reasons and then we are left without the item. If sometimes I pay more money for the order at list a haw the order and money will be earned . Happy colecting
