    3. nice strap Chip! The Regiments 169 and 170 of the 52 Division had some selected men trained in April 1917 in Ober-Elsass by Sturmbataillon 16 for theses raids. the pictures are from the morning after the raid (Sept 6 1917), before the prisoners were taken to the rear.

    14. The material and color of the boards should match the tunic - It appears that the boards you posted are of a different material and weave than your tunic.
