    1. Not really my collecting field, I only have a red one.... but if I could choose... green, hands down...
    2. Which is your most interesting autograph... maybe your favorite, or historically interesting, or an eye catcher… whatever the reason…

    4. Hi, A silly Question... 106R... am I correct in thinking this is the 106th Reserve and not 106 IR ? The Holster is 1915 dated... so the Guy killed in 1914 is a miss, the 2nd Guy may be a hit? This is assuming (and it is a long shot) that he was a KIA... Even if the place is different, it is possible that a French soldier picked it up somewhere and took it home... The only real way would be to find a list of the 106 I think....
    5. Hi, the really nice part was the seller read "Hospital" of the 1st Bavarian etc. etc.... but it was in fact "Horse Hospital"... which is even better IMHO as it is a relatively scarce unit on a tag....
    6. You must ask E Williams.... he is apparently an expert on such matters ;-)
    7. Well, I have to agree with Kornel... during the cleaning process it became evident that it was not only "cleaning" but also "Saving" I did a bit of work yesterday... will post later.
    8. Well, I can read everything on it... so it would not be needed for that... but it is Zinc, so "Zinc-Pest" may be an issue... but it looks to be just dirt.... I dont know if it can be called "Patina" but as it is, you just know it belongs together... its "self Authenticating"... if it were cleaned... it will still belong together... but not so obviously...
    9. Hi, I just recieved a 08 Holster stamped to the IR106, named to Gefreiter Liebing, Does anyone have the history, and is there a list of KIAs? It was a barn find in France. Thans Chris
    10. Fantastic... and cheap? Did they only get one of these? Was it the official award document? If you could sell them in the states I bet it would be worth 10 times more....
    11. The Wiki Page mentions this tradition... I think I may have some officer pictures with one... will look whenI get home...
