    1. Being a document guy I find the dicument to a Bulgarian General to be killer... is there an EK2 doc as well ???
    2. Very nice! Out of interest, is any of them unit stamped?
    3. There are many interesting pages in the book above. I am going to start a write up soom, but in the mean time the pics are here... http://www.kaiserscross.com/40029/450901.html http://www.kaiserscross.com/40029/451801.html It really is a jewel in the collection I am happy to have got....
    4. Hi, I think the GG is Gewehr Geschoss, but that fits with Infanterie gewehr geschoss?
    5. There is something positively freudian about how and where his gun is hanging......
    6. Hi, I think the Americans for the 251 Divs took most of the info from the Fench. I think it is probably all very subjective for us. I like the 12th Bavarian infantry, as I have a lot from this fine unit... but they are probably not better than ny other regt in the division. Prefer 2nd Bavarian Jäger to 1st, because they are a local unit... but there is little diference between the two. Like 37th RIR and 37 FR as I have lots of docs, but ignore the est of the units in the DIV. Best Regiment can be synonammous with "My favorite regiment..." :-)
    7. Muchos Grazias...That is what I thought... unfortunately I have lent my 2 Jäger History to a friend, but with the first name I may be able to figure out who he was when I get the book back...
    8. Can anyone read this? Uncle (Karl?) and his friend Albert, killed on the 10th August 1916.... Kann anyone guess the name?
    9. Hi Eric, sounds like a logical possibility, maybe they were short on Haube for reserve units, Best chris
    10. The group to Ken Gatward...his exploit captured imaginations both sides of the channel... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2239241/Hero-RAF-pilot-Ken-Gatward-dropped-French-flag-Arc-Triomphe-Nazi-occupied-Paris.html
