    1. From a series i will call this "mask 1" It has the concave ring, but not the 4 rivets in the lid like chips.... I am assuming an early tim....
    2. Indeed. collectors Guild has a 16 for over a grand, I think Weitze had a M16 for EUR700 some time ago!! Crazy!
    3. I dunno, its just so........ clear....... almost thinly coated... Maybe it was just a moment where the guy painting the core thought "You now.... I am not going to paint this one on thick...."
    4. I have a theory that the Iron Cross 1939 was somehow copyrighted to prevent folks using it for things like cookbooks... Did the NSDAP have a opyright on the swastika preventing "anyone" from just using things with a swastika to sell things like cookbooks?
    5. Here is my thought.... If the Turks had so many awards made outside of Turkey, would they even try and make an award as complicated as the EK2? Core, rims, putting it together etc.... Its a looot of work... Best Chrs
    6. Hi Andy I cannot get the back, it has 2 thin flat pins which go through the hat and are neatly bent flat. it is not possible to see if these pins were pit on to replace a normal pin... the other one just to compare size....
    7. This came out of the top German Imperial visor hat collection a number of years ago when the collection was sold, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the collecto.... needless to say, it is a crown jewell in my collection Bavarian Jäger :-)
    8. A Bavarian, I am not sure if this is officer or NCO ? Can it be worn with an officers Blue Litewka?
    9. Veery flat chested I have no proof as to when the man aquired this cross, but the group was complete, document issued inmid 1916 for an early 1915 award.... Maybe he bought it later, but it is a very strange core for a KO!
