    6. I picked this up as a kind of branch of the colonial medal. From what I can find the 3rd battalion of the 94 RI was formed into a commando de chasse unit in Algeria.
    7. Hi, this is from a German doc, captured by the French, and in a group of papers belonging to a french officer... Any idea what A.V.O. could mean in this case? I assume it is a copy of the daily orders given to an attached FW detachment?

Hi, I have a great new tunic with 5 badges 1) Sgt Stripe Left arm 2) 4th Div patch 3) 2 overseas stripes 4) Wound stripe 5) Red discharge chevron. 1)-3) were sewn on by the same person, someone who knew how to use a needle, with a series of "XXXXXXX" stiches. 4)-5) are done in clumsy stiches. I assume this is more or less logical? A SGT just post war having the patch, sgt stripes and overseas chevrons done at the local tailor, then adding a wound and discharge stripe later? Thanks Chris
    9. Hi, Its ike a large coin. I think usually(as in this case) they are given out to people as mementos when you have worked with them. Kind of like a plaque or something in that line.

    16. These are WW1 era, left is one from the famous "Tiffany" jewelers, Right from Banks and <biddle. Tiffany ones are named to W.C.Miller
