    1. Hi Jeff, missing one photo, but the one up there is spectacular!
    2. I have yet to research the 2 Glory groups I have. Perhaps in the next round.
    3. Hi Rusty, actually, I believe that to be a Midge. Wrong thorax/abdomen for most of the Diptera.
    4. So, when issued a "unit" citation like this, the Regimental Colors would have one of the streamers attached?
    5. Is it me, or are the wreaths on these two very different from the examples shown in another thread by Alex?
    6. Lawrence, thanks for posting the award criteria. Ralph, the boxed group is very beautiful!
    7. I have to agree with Rick. There's no doubt on these. The subtle gilding of Imperial germany was a lost art form ca 1939-45. The bright fire-gilding in all it's glory and sharpness was not. I think (Kev) you have two silver crosses there.
    8. Ed, let me know if you need help merging....
    9. So, in the older style booklet... the page after page of Uigar script boils down to this? Very interesting and real benefits to these men who helped their country at a critical period in history!
    10. Hi George, are you the high bidder on ebay right now?
    11. Interesting how this one turned out! Do you have the whole group Doug?
    12. I seem to recall a different debate. On WAF, perhaps? Wasn't the IAB's with this (very) odd and non-typical JFS Mark disputed on authenticity?
    13. Can you please clarify.... for the past 8-10 years, this piece was always ID'd as a Veteran's piece. (perhaps in error).... Awarded by The Chamber of Commerce, I noted above... But! Awarded to whom and for what??
    14. Yep, here's Comrade Commissar Belykh's Political Academy Badge, currently residing with our most famous world traveler... Ed
    15. The Political Academy was also used for Commissars. The Belykh group had a real stunner with a deep, coal-black patina to the silver..
