    1. I thought the deal was these were never awarded??????
    2. Heiko is quite right, on any given day one can find numerous examples of this style in great condition, most can be assumed as "new"... Preety sure the twins discussed this at our last mind-meld and gave it a "yeah, right... Enlisted Bar with 4 state's awards PLUS Austrian large silver bravery medal? really? But this one was done extremely well.........
    3. Original ribbon? unlikely. Repro, probably in Germany. I might actually have a piece of 1864 to spare.
    4. These are beautiful Dolf & Jan. And this one seems to be a bit harder to find.
    5. Has anybody seen a hard case for the ORB type 2 like this before?
    6. Very cool Heiko! Thanks for the detailed scans!!
    7. Gee, I don't think I've even seen a lapel mini WB from Godet before... certainly not one that looked like this one!!
    8. OK, just found this gift from my friend.... Recipient: Mikhail Ivanovich Guzov, Captain of I/S on Staff of 36th Army
    9. Sorry for the delay. here's the document for Victory over Japan to a Soviet. I have the matching medal and the rest of his group.
    10. Yikes Gordon! Somebody sat on your helmet! I have not ever seen one of these before!!!! The back???
    11. I think we have a Turkish-made enameled example?? Your thoughts??
    12. Not impressed? Look again!
    13. Nope, not missing a thing ;>) That's why I referenced Igor's as a type 1. As a loose piece, even if right, I think that price is pretty steep. And if it's wrong.... well, anyway. I wouldn't base a buying decision on these photos of either of the two cased pieces. I'm afraid to even ask how much the ORB was.
    14. The Type 1 is pretty hard to find. Saw one on a website for about a grand..... there's a damaged (heavily) one on eBay that closed today. Last I looked, it was well over $100....
    15. I Have a Mongolian Award document to a Soviet for the Victory Medal. I'll get some scans shortly!
    16. A very nice T2 just went off in Germany for over 1100-Euro... just about right in line with dealer pricing on these.
    17. Yes, but Igor also has a PM-certified Glory 3, Type 1 in a grouping with documents for 6700-USD. The cases do not however look at all like the usual boxes one sees for the Soviet orders though. They look like actual hard-shell cases which I think are unusual at best?
    18. Good observations webr... that makes it possible as the first ribbon is indeed gold.... Now, if this was a tab-back, which I suspect it is... one could correct it. But then we have a very odd Model '57. What this doesn't change though is the double KVK.... Unless... we were to accept it as an extremely unusual use of swords to denote the 1. klasse kreuz.
    19. Chris gets the cookie! 10% off next ribbon bar order! (and there was much rejoicing) Yes, Sacred Treasure of Japan.... center stripe blue has faded out on the obverse. But the reverse, look closely... you can just see the blue edges.... Webr is also correct... 2 gold eagles. But The (Truly) Evil Twin? thinks no way to ID..... yet.
    20. ummmmm, Two (2) KVK2wX on same bar? '39 EK Ribbon in first '39 KVK2wX '14 EK (with what device)??? Really??? Been drinking tonight?? Really?
    21. Hi Christophe, I have not seen a gold one with any maker/content marks. The ones I've had looked just like Herr Bretzendorfer's piece. No marks at all.
    22. Geez, so for under $3.00 it made it to the US?!! Note to self..... buy large container. Remember to punch holes in it.
