Hi David, I found an Assistenzartz Dr. Metz without any medal entries in the 1872 Rangliste der königlich Preußischen Armee. At this time he served with the 7. Rheinisches Landwehr Regiment Nr.69. Unfortunately without first name. Kind regards Andreas
