I would think every soldier would have his awards mounted and ready for wear. I'm sure on special days medal bars would be required for wear.

Interesting that Godet used awards from other makers on some bars instead of the ones they produced. Perhaps the recipiant supplied them.

All but perhaps two of the medals are bad so I don't have much hope for the bar itself. It was the old crappy ebay pics and I put a low-ball bid in on the off chance I'd get a Christmas deal. I think the A-H awards are under rated and wanted an example to set next to my German stuff.
