    1. Here is another one straight from Germany, from a seller in Dresden. All the medals are secured so they don't jingle around. Or is this the same bar that is shown above???
    2. Very nice grouping with a history. The son's awards are iceing on the cake. It puts the first half of the last century in perspective. The PAB is a Daisy BTW. Don
    3. Bob, as usual it is almost all speculation but last I heard this is how it lays now: A.S. and .A.S are thought to be made by Adolph Scholze from the area of Gablonz, linked through manufacturing technique to Gablonz maker R.K. The AS triangle could possibly be A.D. Schwerdt (tridangle being a D in ancient Greek) but you would expect the biggest letter to be the last name and not the middle name. Mike Tucker had one of these in an A.D.Schwerdt packet which strengthens this line of reason but no one has produced another example with the packet so who knows. It could also be an as yet unidentified Gablon manufacturer. One day we will know for sure. Don
    4. It appears that several of the sellers have discover a patsy from which they are making a killing. Don
    5. Thanks Rick. I might as well show another since I'm messing with the scanner. Here is a Brunswick Cross for War Merit with Bravery device. Don
    6. Thanks for the assist. I had it written down and accidently tossed it when the wife made me clean the dungeon. Don
    7. AS in the triangle is thought to be a different maker than the A.S. and .A.S maker. Nice PABs all the same. I have the A.S. hollow in silver. Don
    8. Great start guys but there has to be more out there. Where are the OAKs and OAKs with SWORDS? Don
    9. Let's see what we can dig up in the way of Freicorps awards for Schlesien. First up is the Schlesien Eagle 1st class with swords.
    10. From Detlev's update: Warrior honor badge in iron [5659] Sold State II Wreath in black iron. Pin back version . This was the highest Hessian bravery decoration for enlisted soldiers during WWI.
