Opaque orange for my example Ser. # 25453 . I note GES. GESCH. is positioned higher on mine and the other opaque examples shown than on the translucent examples. Different numeral fonts also. --dj--Joe

Looks to be a donation badge, day badge/tinnie. It commemorates the event held on 17-18 Sept. 1927, could be a meeting a march something on that order. --dj--Joe

Discounting the unknowns for the moment. Total conjecture, if it is NR, at a stretch of the imagination, it could be Nichols & Raimund a manufacturer of belt buckles, however the drawing I have seen of their mark in a circle is different, an N and R sharing the last upright stroke of the N. But we know that companys changed logos. Or is it RN ? Don, you mention the posibility of it being FNR. Do you happen to have a clear close up of the mark? Ah well, fun to research. I also hope something comes to light. --dj--Joe

I will post this DjK youth sports related pin in hopes some one will have an idea of the time period it was issued. I know this organization was active early 3rd Reich and probably pre 3rd reich, and is presently active but have not been able to locate their post war organization pins. If indeed there has been any change at all. No reverse markings. --dj--Joe
