    1. Just took a turn down memory lane. My wish list still has more items than my collection. --dj--Joe
    2. While looking to see that I don't double post a tinnie I also saw an example on page 11 and a tank example on page 19. --dj--Joe
    3. Aktiengesellschaft & Co. I know, too simple. I have observed listings like this but why joint company co.? Corporation different than company? Arbeitsgemeinschaft? Just thinking --dj--Joe
    4. Robert, Looking backwards through the General Tinnie Database I ran across one on page 34 and another on page 33 and that's where I stopped looking. --dj--Joe In my earlier post I can now correct Wehrfabig to Wehrfahig.
    5. Thanks Don. Guess I need a good reference book. I saw a bronze 1939 Landesschiessen marked A.G. & CO. Munchen. I don't see too many A. G. & CO.'s beside the 1940 Kleinkaliber - Meisterklasse badges. Was wondering if they only produced in the early years? --dj--Joe
    6. Robert, I have seen a couple like yours and others, can't recall just what the others depicted. A tank is a foggy possibility. Seems there was a series of pins. Usually see them grouped with tinnies. Think one stated fit for service or something like that. I also feel yours is a two part piece. --dj--Joe Went looking - found a couple - one was plastic with the folded metal plate stating Jnfanterie. Depicted an eagle above and a helm., rifle, bayonet and oak leaves below. The other - in metal, depiction was also an eagle above but below a helm. with a bayonet and different oak leaves. The folded metal plate stated Wehrfabig I think? It was rusty. One more - in metal, had the RAD or FAD emblem (no swaz.), depicted within a shield shape below the plate stating Reserve hat rue. One other - in metal different eagle above. Helm. and bayonet in circle with different leaves below. Plate/bar plaque whatever is correct stated Jnfanterie. I would bet Wood knows much more about these than I do.
    7. Don, from your first post I see a 41 dated Wehrmanngewehr badge. Did that designation end in 1941? Seems I asked this question way back but your reply is lost in the fog of age. --dj--Joe
    8. A nice example. I'll share my damaged example. It may be of some interest. --dj--Joe
    9. Peter, could it be 830? I did not think 850 was a common German content mark. I have seen few single sided miniature EK's. Some I observed had sloppy suspension rings and soft looking details. Kasle, a very nice award chain. Thanks for sharing. Is the EKI vaulted. --dj--Joe
    10. Peter, Interesting chain. What is the mark on the reverse of the EKI ? LDO number or silver content? My eyes cannot make it out. Have you seen period in wear pictures of EKI and EKII being worn in combination on a chain? I do not recall but am off to dig through my notes. --dj--Joe
    11. Appreciate seeing them. Thanks for sharing. I like the 1st. picture leading into the series. Appears it was a good idea to be seen watching the parade. --dj--Joe
    12. I saw one artillery related just now while searching. Crossed cannons with a U.S. hanging from a son in service devise. --dj--Joe
    13. Nice to see them and thank you for showing them. Brought back good memories. I have a few (very view) tucked away. Nothing much different than what you show. One is more trench art / sweetheart - a 45 round with an eagle and shield with a small ring to suspend it. Mass produced I'm sure as I have seen others. At one time I had a number of them but another collector wanted them more. I think there is at least one collectors reference on them. Many interesting examples were made. --dj--Joe
    14. Thought I'd post this to make up for some of my less than good pictures. This is a great informative thread that I have learned so much from. Thank you Don and all contributors. --dj--Joe
    15. Ran across this while searching for some info. thought it deserved another look. --dj--Joe
    16. What an intriguing badge Don. Thanks for sharing it. I can't quite make out the ripple pattern behind the enamel. Looks early. --dj--Joe
