    1. Very nice picture, thank you for showing it. Not sure how much help I can be. The shooting medals on the chain would be for specific events. Some named to the individual on the reverse. Usually the club and or event engraved also. I don't have an exact example to any in the picture but here is one for an idea. --dj--Joe
    2. Hi Don. Is the pin on the smaller diamond thicker than the mid size example? --dj--Joe
    3. 1936 Winterhilfswerk D.R.K.B. Kyffhauser Landes Verb. Kurpfalz --dj--Joe
    4. All these nice and interesting badges and I still have yet to add any examples to my collection. I'd best turn in my enamel badge collectors card. Well done everyone. I appreciate seeing these. --dj--Joe
    5. Larry T., thanks for the period images. Appreciate seeing them. Here is a 50 I can share. --dj--Joe
    6. Ha, see what you started. Congratulations on a dedicated collection. Some rare examples there. --dj--Joe
    7. Hi, your adler would have had three round prongs, one attached at each mound. They would have been pushed through the cloth of the collar tab and bent over. They would have resembled short pins. If the adler is made of aluminum the pins would likely be the same material. If alloy the same. --dj--Joe
    8. Impressive. I've always liked these. I admire the 1936. Regards, --dj--Joe
    9. There is a moving poem about Military Working Dogs titled, Guardians of the Night. I could not locate an author so did not feel right about copying the poem. --dj--Joe I should also state that this poem with the words Police Working Dog is also in print. Can not find additional information about the origin of the poems.
    10. So many moving pieces to choose from. -------------------------------------------------- And when he gets to heaven, To Saint Peter he will tell: One more Marine reporting, sir-- I've served my time in hell. -Marine Grave inscription on Guadalcanal, 1942
    11. Thank you Don. I appreciate it for the third time. This time I will write it down. I wonder if Neff had a monoply on these org. pins? I have not observed another maker. --dj--Joe
    12. Hello, I find myself in need of assistance. I purchased a Reichsverband Der Wirtschaftsleiter membership pin, (as seen on page 2 of this thread), however I can not recall nor find specific information as to the organization. Even though I know Don has told me at least twice. I looked up the definition of Wirtschaftsleiter but too many variables and things do tend to get confused in translation. Mine is also by Rob.Neff Berlin W57 --dj--Joe
    13. Nice examples Gents. I believe my button hole example is one of the smaller versions. --dj--Joe
    14. Not a clue. Interesting though. Any markings to the reverse? --dj--Joe
    15. I prefer the non starburst version. I would never doubt your eye Don. I was just typing/thinking outloud. --dj--Joe
    16. From looking at the obverse and reverse of the examples shown I see nothing that points to reproduction. Pre and post war use is always a possibility since it's more of a sun wheel than a swastika. Membership grades or periods of membership another possibility. Does Husken not show or discuss these? --dj--Joe
