the maker mark,i hope its big enough to see.On my cpu its definately a D.The pic is bigger.

I am looking at a D marked ek2 for sale.My problem being is that I have nothing to compare the core or stamp too. This guy wants a hefty price for this(for a 14 ek2). Its just that I have never in my short collecting career seen one with the stamp on the outside edge of the medal ring. Its not that I dont dought its possilble,its just better to ask what other people think.I see that Tom from Florida(GO BUCS) has maybe one so hopefully he reads this.The pics of the front and back are from his site,the maker mark pic is what he emailed me. First off let me say very nice cross and case!!! But if anyone is looking for a JWS ek2;there is one sitting at hood.de right now for (buy it now for 45 euros) but no ribbon. I already got one so I thought I would let yall know. mfg Scott

Well I can only add a few,but at the same time extremely happy with the ones that I found. Some came with ribbons some not.Only got one example of each. unmarked A B G JWS K ko 800 LV 11 MFH R RW RSCH We(on medal ring) WA W-S W&S At the moment that is all I can add mfg Scott

Hey Micha The first time that Ive seen one of these!Good lookin cross. You are making it extremely hard to keep up with you on these hard to find makers. But heck thats makes the hunt just that much more interesting.Did you get that off ebay cause I dont remember seeing that one? mfg Scott

This is a bad fake.Do a search and compare good ones and it dont take long to see the differance! Scott

MH,well sometimes it takes a Fachmann.I was looking upside down,right side up.This way that way. You come in with its a Fr;and then you see it.They keep telling me I need glasses,now I know why. mfg Scott

I could be wrong I dont know. The pic of the core is so dark you can not make out any details. So maybe a wild geuss.Just from the ribbon ring,which just from the pics looks kinda thick? Maybe a CD without the 800.Also on the list Scott

Here is the top,what was the slit for?

This is something my son found.It is in bad shape and it makes me think why the blade aint rusty? overall-51.5 cm blade-40.2 cm blade width-22 mm Wood handle with no rivots? It has damage that an idiot put some kind of I want to say file to it.Not deep but if you look close with a mag glass you can see it,on the blade.But it is also still dull. Thanks for any help! dond,i just want to say that is a fine looking medal bar you got there.What I like is the order the medals were placed(no FF cross),but now I have a question on the bravery medal.Is that a higher award then the MVK?Why was it awarded because I thought the MVK was a bravery medal like a EK2. Scott

OK now I need a little bit of knowledge.What is the differance between a pre 1906 and a after 1906,just the color?Also saschaw is the band original,quicker to ask here then there.My only doubt is that one MOD has doubts;anotherone does not.Small medal for some,but very interesting for me!
